On the surface, Bath is a genteel and elegant World Heritage City, renowned for its Georgian Architecture as well as its healing mineral waters and thermal spas. It was discovered by King Bladud in Bath Lore and favoured by the Romans, but did you know that it is the city where Herschel discovered Uranus the planet of disruptive energy and catalysing change? So, where better a destination to host the inaugural and progressive Better Way conference than here. Much of the city is pedestrianised, with a cosmopolitan and uplifting feel and and there is a high concentration and standard of independent retailers not to mention a rich and varied food scene. There are several museums and galleries, the historic Roman Baths and beautiful parks to enjoy the sunshine.
Outside Bath the surrounding countryside is notoriously pretty for those wishing to deepen their exploration of this stunning area. Avebury, Stonehenge and Glastonbury are short distances away.
Bath is well served in it’s infrastructure. It has direct rail links to London Paddington (1 hr 40 mins) and is just 20 minutes from the M4. For international travellers, it takes a little over an hour to arrive and depart from Bristol Airport and we are within easy reach of the main London airports.
Please be aware that Bath has a clean air zone which means that larger vehicles will get charged driving into the centre. For more information click here.
This pass gives full access to the Betterway Conference over the entire weekend. Guests must ensure that they use this pass with Photo Identification to gain access.
